A father and son travel together to the seclusion of a village in the mountains. There, the father tries—tirelessly, stubbornly, lovingly—to enter the mysterious world of his mute, autistic son. A world of rituals, of incomprehensibilities, of the child’s gaze into the infinity of a glass marble. A world of refusal.
